Meet Judge Gregory Gordon, a distinguished legal professional with deep roots in Las Vegas. Born and raised in this vibrant city, he proudly received his education from the renowned Clark County School District. Graduating with honors from Valley High School in 1987, Judge Gordon went on to pursue higher education at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. In 1991, he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics.

Continuing his pursuit of legal expertise, Judge Gordon attended Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. During his time at law school, he achieved remarkable academic success, earning a spot on the Dean's Honor Roll and serving on the editorial board of the prestigious Pepperdine Law Review. In 1994, he graduated magna cum laude, ranking #8 in his graduating class, and obtained his juris doctor degree.

Following law school, Judge Gordon's career soared as he joined the esteemed Las Vegas law firm of Jolley, Urga, Wirth & Woodbury. His hard work and dedication led him to become a partner in the firm. However, in July of 2003, Judge Gordon decided to open his own law practice, driven by a desire to make a more direct impact on the community he cherished.

For nearly three decades, Judge Gordon specialized in family law in Clark County, Nevada. His expertise in the field was further showcased through numerous articles he authored, covering various aspects of family law. Notably, he wrote about subjects like property and contractual rights of nonmarital cohabitants, representing children, and the valuation of business interests in divorce.

Judge Gordon's passion for contributing to the legal community didn't end there. He authored the inaugural print edition of "Nevada Child Custody and Visitation," a valuable resource for Nevada attorneys and judges, featured in the Nevada Family Law Practice Manual.

A respected member of the legal profession, Judge Gordon holds memberships in the Nevada State Bar, Clark County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He has also played significant editorial roles in prominent legal publications like the Nevada Lawyer Magazine and the Nevada Family Law Reporter.

In 2023, Governor Lombardo appointed Judge Gregory Gordon to serve as a District Court Judge in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division, marking another milestone in his illustrious career. With his rich experience, exceptional qualifications, and unwavering dedication to justice, Judge Gordon continues to make a profound impact on the legal landscape in Las Vegas and beyond.
